The UK's Smallest Festival Stage Looks Like Good Vibes And Good Times
I’ve long been an advocate for all things small when it comes to festivals. Glastonbury is bloody amazing, but it always feels like a bit of an endurance challenge by day three, and by day four you end of feeling like someone swapped your body out whilst you were sleeping and you don’t recognise a single bone of what they replaced it with. Smaller festivals, they’re underrated.
Well, Desperados have only gone and taken the less is more concept to a whole new level. This Wednesday (May 16th) they are bringing their ‘Reclaim the Party‘ campaign to Shoreditch in London, and they have chosen to do so with ‘the smallest festival stage that fans will have ever experienced.’ That sounds like a challenge to me, and a fun one at that.
The party will be an indoor rave, but will have that raw, outdoor festival vibe that seemed a million years away when the Beast from the East was poking its ugly head around the city. You can expect a mini stage, greenery, straw flooring, lasers, tents and a refreshing evening mist. The best thing? It won’t cost you a penny!. Entry is free, but it’s first come first served so get your partying ass over there as soon as you can.
The venue but may be small but their are some pretty big names on the lineup. Tough Love, Karma Kid, Dan Caplen, Trutopia, and Jessica Sky will all get their DJ on.
I’m sold, anything that brings that festival feeling a little closer is worth it in my book. Head over to the event page for more details.
